About Small Pet Boarding
N.B. Sadly, we are no longer able to board our rabbit friends, due to the onset of an allergic reaction to their fur ,which is affecting Daryl's health.
We offer indoor accommodation for Guinea Pigs, hamsters and birds( budgies and canaries only) in our spacious purpose built guest house.
Hamsters and birds: own cage to be provided.
SORRY we are not able to board rats, reptiles or tortoises.
Your Guinea Pigs will have access to the large floor space where they can stretch their legs and have their "binky" and "pop corning" moments! These sessions will be closely supervised with only bonded pets from the same family allowed out together.
When the weather permits they( guinea pigs only) can enjoy supervised playtime on the lawn, within the protection of a run, which also has a cover to shelter them from the sun.
For small pets such as hamsters and birds we accommodate them in their own cages. We have limited places to ensure your pets will receive our full attention so we do recommend booking early to guarantee a place.
The Lodges are cleaned out every day with fresh bedding provided daily to ensure our guests are clean, dry and comfortable. We keep disruption to our guests at a minimum.
The floor in the run area is cleaned and disinfected with a pet friendly disinfectant spray used by the vets after each use . Covers used on the floor are kept for the use of one guest only, we never allow another guest to use your pets allocated "linen".
Lodges and run areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each guest leaves. The hutches have a protective covering on the floor to prevent urine soaking into the wood( and the consequent odour that results from that, plus risk of contamination).
